Over all, I believe having an alternate path to receive a teaching licensure is great idea. It's a great idea because it is speeding up the process to be able to produce more much needed teachers to reduce the student to teacher ratio. Which would in turn give the teacher more time to spend with each student, so they have the best school experience as possible. But I also have to ask, what would this speed up process cost in the long run. Would this process produce less effective and less prepared teachers. And if that is the case it would be the students who would be loosing the most in the long run.
